Michigan: Mitt Romney has won the latest Republican Presidential primary vote, beating John McCain into second place.

The former Massachusetts governor described the victory as “the beginning of a comeback for America” after losing in the first two primaries.

These party votes will eventually decide who the next Republican candidate for President will be.

Senator McCain, who won in New Hampshire congratulated his rival on the victory, while Iowa winner Mike Huckabee was in third place.

The next round of primaries for the Republicans will be on January 19 in South Carolina.

All of the major candidates are hoping to build momentum going into Super Tuesday on February 5, when party members from 20 states go to the polls.
