London: Oxford University is assessing how to provide security for Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari. The university is expected to take advice from the intelligence services and Thames Valley police as it prepares to welcome the first-year student to Christ Church college.

A university spokesman said: "We will review our security arrangements. We take the security of all our students, including high-profile students, extremely seriously. However, we cannot comment on individual students even if they are high- profile or in the public eye." Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari is said to have formed a close circle of friends, who themselves might be subject to questioning by the authorities. He enrolled in October, during a visit accompanied by a proud Benazir Bhutto.
