The only company to have sent tourists into space has announced plans to develop a Dh975 million commercial spaceport in Ras Al Khaimah, from where it will operate suborbital flights reaching 100km into space.
The government of Ras Al Khaimah has launched an offshore facility, the second in the UAE, that is expected to lure investors looking for a new tax haven.
