Lamcy Plaza is celebrating DSS 2008 with an exuberant show of traditional music and dance from different regions of Russia.
Russian folk dancers perform to fast uneven rhythms played on traditional instruments such as the balalaika, garmoshka, contrabass balalaika and bayan.
The recreational folk dances involve dancing in short lines, open circles or closed circles with colourful stage costumes.
The dancers also perform Russian folk tales and fairy tales, showing glimpses of the country's old heritage and traditions.
