He is the fastest of only 15 people in the world to have conquered the three pinnacles of the globe and Dubai-based adventurer Adrian Hayes wants you to be the first to see the snaps.
For most people, successfully completing even one of the challenges Hayes set in one lifetime would be a major achievement. But Hayes wasn’t satisfied with just one and decided three was the number for him.
Within a period of just 19 months, Hayes undertook three remarkable challenges — walking to the North and South Poles and reaching the summit of Mount Everest.
On Friday, the people of Dubai and the UAE have a unique opportunity to hear the trials and tribulations of all three adventures as well as see the amazing photographs and video footage from the top and bottom of the world.
The evening, aptly titled A Night at 3 Poles, is taking place at the Grand Hyatt, Dubai, and all proceeds from the event will be donated to the UAE-based Children's Hope Foundation and Friends of Cancer Patients.
The evening will be a one-off dinner and Hayes, a former British Army officer, has already announced it will be the first and last time he speaks about the three challenges in one night.
And tabloid! can offer you a sneak preview with a never-before-seen image which will feature in Friday’s exhibition.
Father-of-two, Hayes said: “I promise to expose the harsh realities of my recently-completed 1,130km walk across Antarctica to reach the South Pole, as well as my 50-day, 850km trek from northern Canada across the Arctic Ocean to the North Pole.
“I have spoken about my two-month ascent of Mount Everest before but never in contrast with the other challenges.
“This is the final dinner presenting all three expeditions, and I can promise a pretty special, fascinating and enjoyable evening for everyone — and all for two very worthy causes.”
