A night of cars and stars made catwalk history as they took to the stage together. More than 800 people enjoyed a rare opportunity to spend a night of glitz and glamour in the company of the most glamorous celebrities of the Arab World at the GM Style event at the Madinat Arena.
Superstars
Screen superstars Yousra, Milad Yousef and Sulaf Fawakerji rubbed shoulders with the biggest names from music including Rola Saad, Waad and Yuri Mrakadi. The celebrity list also included actor Tamer Hagras, singer Karl Wolf and UAE rapper Kaz Money.
Rachel Hunter, one of the world's most famous former supermodels, joined the glamorous list of regional artists for the impressive parade of cars and stars.
Each celebrity hand-picked a car which most suited their personality before being personally styled by Boutique 1's experts Samineh Safavi and Ramiz Cherfaoui.
Collection
The collection of cars accompanying them was no less stunning. The event raised money for the Dubai Autism Centre from the proceeds of ticket sales.
Safavi said: "This event has been a lot of fun although quite demanding. As an evening of fashion, celebrity and high automotive style, Dubai has never seen anything like GM Style. When beautiful cars mix with some of the most glamorous stars from the worlds of fashion, entertainment and sport, it's something to remember.
"When Rachel Hunter walked into Boutique 1, she was stunned, which was such a lovely feeling for us. She said it is like heaven on Earth for a woman. I was so proud."
Yousra
An Egyptian actress who has received more than 40 international awards.
Clothes: She wore a black Elie Saab dress for the motor show and took to the red carpet in a purple Oscar de la Renta dress. Stylist Safavi said: "It was elegant, mature and almost queen-like."
Car: A Middle East custom Cadillac Escalade that stands out from the crowd in the region, as Yousra has done for years.
Rachel Hunter
A Kiwi supermodel who has graced many catwalks the world over.
Clothes: Rachel had on a gold Elie Saab ensemble from the Gold Collection. Stylist Safavi said: "She looked like a Greek goddess, she was amazing. We went short because she has amazingly long legs. For the red carpet she wore a Roman-style Temperly dress in beige."
Car: Saab Aero X with awe-inspiring lines - just like Hunter.

A filmmaker, singer and actor, and one of Lebanon's most accomplished Arab filmmakers.
Clothes: Paul and Joe, Martin Margela and Hudson shoes.

Zed El Rifaii
A mountaineer who has conquered peaks no previous Arab has dared.
Clothes: Missoni, Karl Lagerfeld, Duvetica. Stylist Cherfaoui said: "The look was perfect, it screamed adventure and passion."
Car: Hummer H3 Open Top with retractable canvas that makes the most of the outdoor life - made for Zed.
Basil Shaaban
A Lebanese motorsport star who plans to soon be racing F1.
Clothes: Karl Lagerfeld, Hudson, Martin Margela. Stylist Cherfaoui said: "The macho, hunk look was a must."
Car: Chevrolet Corvette Z06 – more engine means more power for a sheer, unadulterated, performance ride… something Basil knows all about.
Sulaf Fawakerji
An actress, described as the "Arab Elizabeth Taylor".
Clothes: She wore emerald green Monique Lhuillier for the show and graced the red carpet in a beautiful white Caftan with red embroidery.
Car: Saab 9-3. A stand-out vehicle that announces its presence the moment it is spotted - we'll say no more.
Kaz is a rapper born and bred in the UAE.
Clothes: Prada, Poggiant, Jil Sander. Stylist Cherfaoui added: "He's young and trendy and we wanted to try something different so we went the other way – turns out he can do stylish and classic too."
Car: Chevrolet Avalanche is a pleasure-seeking vehicle. More than just looks and comfort, it's about taking everything from life - it could have been taught by Kaz.
