Dubai: A field of 100 players will compete for the 5th Ashworth Men's Summer Open to be held on Saturday at the Arabian Ranches Golf Club. The flagship tournament on the ARGC Summer Golf Calendar is supported by Gulf News, Xerox and TNT.
Elliott Gray said: "We are delighted to have received 100 confirmed entries in addition to the wait list.
"Previous champions including John Mills (2004 Gross winner), Fred Watts (2006 Net winner) and Tony Azoulay (2007 Gross Champion)have confirmed their participation.
"We have representatives from eight golf clubs in the UAE as well as a typically strong entry of 27 players from the UGA Handicap Scheme and 58 home players and 3 overseas entries."
