Dubai: Al Wasl have signed striker Walid Murad from Al Nasr for Dh6 million.
The deal came after a long negotiation between the two clubs, which began with Al Nasr wanting Dh3 million plus a player in exchange.
But Al Wasl refused and made a cash only offer that Al Nasr finally accepted as the player wanted to join the Dubai club.
Al Wasl have further bolstered their squad with the signing of midfielder Yousuf Hasan from the Al Shaab for Dh 3.5 million.
The transfer fee will see see Dh 3 million go to the club and the remainder will be paid to the player.
Former Al Wasl player Mohammad Salim Al Ennazy has returned to the club.
He was released at the end of last season and signed with Al Dhafra but has now re-signed for Al Wasl.
Iranian Eman Mob'ali also joined the Dubai club earlier in the close season to join Brazilian striker Alexander Olivera and his compatriot Rogerio.
The team are set to travel to Switzerland next week for a three weeks training camp to help the players prepare for the inaugural professional league.
