Ajman: Ajman and Sharjah are to host two intercollegiate tournaments.
Under the auspices of Ajman Cricket Council, Jasapara Sports and www.cricketlovers.com will organise a Twenty20 league.
This tournament will be held at Ajman Cricket Council's Al Jurf ground.
Announcing the tournament, which will be known as the Saturday league, Gopal Jasapara, the chief organiser, said: "A lot of cricket is played on Fridays so we are planning this Saturday league, which will also be for corporate and junior teams too."
This tournament will commence from October 25.
Meanwhile, Maxtalent will organise the Honda Pride Cup Inter-collegiate tournament from October 23 to November 14.
Eighteen teams have already confirmed participation. This is an increase of four teams from the last edition of this tournament.
The matches will be held in Sharjah and Dubai grounds.
With many international junior tournaments set to begin, these tournaments will act as a platform for budding cricketers.
