Umm Al Quwain: Emirates Islamic Bank won their second Twenty20 cricket title when they won the Twenty20 Premier League title at Umm Al Quwain.
Emirates Islamic Bank defeated Al Hamad Contracting by six wickets.
Azhar Gul was again the star for Emirates Islamic Bank as he scored a half century and earned his second man of the final in the shorter version of the game.
Emirates Islamic Bank (EIB) won the toss but elected to field. Their captain's decision seemed to have favoured them as they managed to restrict their rivals to 158 and sent back nine Al Hamad batsmen to the pavilion.
Al Hamad lost their opener Qasim Butt with the score on 20. Zahid Shah was the bowler who had Butt caught.

Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group defeated Maklai Cricket Club by 19 runs to win the second Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group Twenty-20 League which concluded at Umm Al Quwain on Friday.
Electing to bat first, Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group put on 195 runs for the loss of seven wickets and later restricted Maklai CC to 177 for eight.
