Dubai: Andrew Shedlock, the assistant coach of the Kolkata Tigers team, which participated in the Indian Premier League, is here to train budding cricketers.
"Shedlock will stage a 18-day camp on behalf of the Young Talents Cricket Academy (YTCA) for children of all ages till July 21," remarked Shehzad Altaf, the director of YTCA.
Shedlock has coached South African stars like Jonty Rhodes, Lance Klusener, Dale Benkenstein, Shaun Pollock, Neil McKenzie, Gary Kirsten, Andre Nel, Dale Steyn, Hashim Amla and Kevin Pietersen.
Shedlock is also a specialist in fitness training and rehabilitation.
"Five teams from our academy will be leaving for England to take part in the Syndicate Cup tournament to be held from July 25. The training under Shedlock will greatly benefit our players," added Shehzad.
The camp will be held at Delhi Private Schools in Sharjah, Jebel Ali, Westminster School, Al Sadiq School and Pakistan Association.
