Gaza: An Israeli attack on a rocket-launching site in the northern Gaza Strip killed a Palestinian man on Thursday, Palestinian medical officials said.
The officials said militants had used the area to fire rockets, but witnesses said the dead man was a civilian who happened to be nearby. The Israeli army had no immediate comment.
More than 120 Palestinians, including dozens of civilians, were killed in a recent Israeli offensive against Palestinian rocket squads. Israel has pledged to keep up the pressure on militants.
