The graduating class included doctors, nurses, health managers, pharmacists and lab technicians who come from a wide variety of public and private health sector organizations. 39 graduates will be conferred with an MSc in Healthcare Management while 18 will be conferred with an MSc in Quality & Safety in Healthcare Management.
Professor Frank Keane, the President of RCSI, presented the graduates with their degrees. He said: "Over the past four decades, RCSI has been supporting healthcare systems worldwide. We aim to continue this tradition in Dubai, by providing programmes that meet the emerging healthcare needs of the region."
Professor Ciaran O Boyle, Head of the RCSI Institute of Leadership and Healthcare Management, said, "We were very pleased to receive accreditation from the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research earlier this year. The Ministry's commitment to the high standards in education encourages us to continue develop and innovate our programmes."
The official opening of the RCSI Dubai campus took place last Thursday at Healthcare City, Dubai.
Officials said the type of education provided by the college enables students to develop a global understanding of the challenges facing modern healthcare.
