Abu Dhabi: As part of its ongoing campaign against illegal residence, Sharjah Naturalisation and Residency Department arrested 125 people for staying in the country illegally.
According to a statement issued by the Interior Ministry, five of those arrested were infiltrators. Amongst those arrested, 83 were from Bangladesh and the remaining 42 were from India. Legal action will be initiated against all of the arrested, officials have said.
