Abu Dhabi: General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Thursday received Ali Rida Shaikh Attar, envoy of the Iranian president and undersecretary of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The envoy conveyed a verbal message from President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, dealing with bilateral relations in addition to other current issues in the region.
Latest developments in the regional and international arenas were also discussed.
Present at the meeting were Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Anwar Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, and other senior official.
