Dubai: Emirates Post has issued a set of commemorative stamps to mark the 30th anniversary of Gulf News, the largest selling English-language newspaper in the region.
The stamps, issued in denominations of Dh1, 150 Fils and 225 Fils, are now available in all post offices in the UAE.
"In the world of print media, Gulf News holds a pride of place as a newspaper that has recorded the dramatic changes in the region and played an important part in the evolution of the media in the region in general," said Ebrahim Bin Karam, CEO of Emirates Post. "Emirates Post is pleased to record Gulf News’s achievements for posterity through these special stamps."
