Etisalat will now operate in accordance with the new weekend of Friday-Saturday, with working hours on Saturday from 8am to 1pm. Electronic payment channels will remain accessible at all times.

Banks
National Bank of Abu Dhabi, National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah and HSBC: There will be no change in branch timings.
Emirates Bank: The bank has indicated its half day is changing from Thursday to Saturday, when banks will be open from 8am-noon. Shopping mall branches will be unaffected, remaining open seven days a week, 8am-8pm.
* Late last week, UAE Central Bank issued a notice stating that banks had not yet been mandated to change their working week. However, some banks have already initiated slight changes.
