Dubai: A Memorandum of Understanding to boost employment of Emiratis in Fujairah was signed on Tuesday between The National Human Resource Development and Employment Authority (Tanmia) and the Fujairah Human Resources Department.
"The signing of this MoU is significant especially since Tanmia is focused on providing employment opportunities to nationals across the country. We will make the best use of our resources to facilitate training of nationals in Fujairah and ... for successfully handling the requirements of today's dynamic job market," said Feddah Lootah, Acting General Director at Tanmia.
The MoU, signed on the sidelines of an exhibition for university studies held at the Fujairah Expo Centre, stipulates the formation of a joint executive committee with the responsibility of coordinating activities in areas of mutual interest, and developing an action plan to implement activities agreed in the MoU, within the prescribed timeframe.
