Baghdad: Voting in Iraq began in hospitals, military camps and prisons across the country. Soldiers, police, hospital patients and prisoners not yet convicted of crimes will cast their vote to choose the first fully constitutional parliament since Saddam Hussain was ousted in 2003. On Tuesday, the estimated 1.5 million Iraqi expatriates in foreign countries will be given the opportunity to begin casting their votes. Countries where votes can take place are Australia, Britain, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Iran, Jordan, the Netherlands, Sweden, Syria, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and the United States.
