During the media briefing of his new home production Kurbani, Feroz Khan said Fardeen was the natural choice to play his role. He also said that he had not finalised the star who would play Vinod Khanna's role.
When asked why he had not considered either Rahul or Akshaye Khanna as the other natural choice(s) for the role, Khan senior was clearly stumped. "I haven't really thought about it but let me first get through with the final script and then I will see who can play that role," he added. What makes this all the more interesting is the fact that barely five minutes before the briefing started, Vinod Khanna was spotted close to the venue but there was no sight nor mention of him. So when I bumped into him right after the briefing, I requested him to answer just this question. To this, Khanna said he didn't give short interviews.
Talk about star egos! And wonder whose is bigger - Khan senior's or Khanna senior's!
