Dubai: Japanese trainer Sei Isizaka is keeping his faith on the magical figure '7' to see his horse Vermilion snatch the top prize on race night at the Dubai World Cup on Saturday.
"I went on stage to draw number 7," a confident Isizaka told Gulf News after his horse was drawn to start from gate No 7.
"I wanted to draw seven and I went on stage with that intention. I feel that in a group of 13 starters, 7 is the most ideal position to start from as it is neither near side nor far side," Isizaka said.
"And besides, I believe 7 is a lucky number."
