Factfile What: Adventure for a cause Who: Allison Amour and Elise Bavarel When: Between June 18 - 25 Where: Six countries, starting from Sharjah to Europe Why: To strenghten ties between Middle East and Europe Dynamic duo Allison Amour and Elise Baverel will attempt to drive to Paris from Dubai in a Mini Cooper in 12 days in a bid to strenghten Middle East-Europe ties. "The whole idea is to bring to Europe a true image of the Middle East: its hospitality, openness and cultural wealth. Furthermore, all along our route, we will illustrate what Dubai's vision has taught us," says Elise. The adventure will span six countries, and will begin with a 12-hour ferry crossing from Sharjah, UAE, to Shiraz in Iran. And what do the girls plan to bring in this journey? Here's a list of their esssentials.
Must-haves - The obvious first was almost said in unison by the pair - MP3 player (they laughed at just how ridiculously girly this sounded). - Laptop - to update people as to where they are. - Toilet paper - just in case they are caught unaware! - Camera - to capture the highs and lows of the trip.
