To attract more than 1 million shoppers this year the Night Souq on Al Seef Street is hoping to offer the ultimate nightly shopping experience.
Come December 20 the Dubai Shopping Festival Night Souq will be back with the start of the annual shopping extravaganza offering brands at highly discounted prices at its permanent venue on Al Seef Street.
The DSF office announced recently that the Night Souq event will be held all through the DSF starting from December 20 up to February 2.
This time the nightly shopping facility will offer a unique and special shopping experience.
Gaining popularity
The souq has become more and more popular with the years: DSF 2003 saw 424,722 visitors, DSF 2004 a total of 696,682 and DSF 2005, 1,015,700 visitors, an increase of 46 per cent between DSF 2004 and DSF 2005.
Shaikha Al Jassmi, DSF Events Coordinator, said: "The Night Souq has evolved into one of the favourite haunts for visitors. All kiosks at the Night Souq are already booked and shoppers will be able to enjoy a better ambience as more seating area will be added outside the Night Souq as well as festive decorations to create a complete shopping mall under the stars effect."
The DSF Night Souq is a well-established concept. Ever since 2003, when it was introduced, it has become one of the more easily recognisable features of every Dubai Shopping Festival and attracts a large number of shoppers for its leisurely night shopping.
Special promotions
And with this 45 day-long event there will as usual be great brands offering special promotions and raffles for shoppers besides the food court and entertainment area for the children. Night shoppers can go shopping from 7pm to 2am (Sunday to Wednesday) and to 3pm (Thursday to Saturday).
The combined editions of DSF 2006-2007 will run from December 20 to February 2.
