Dubai: Visitors to the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) 2006 can look forward to live concerts by international artistes who will perform at a series of events from January 4 to February 4. A concert featuring the Gypsy King, Nancy Ajram and Arash will be held on January 12 at Zabeel Park while Layali Dubai will be organised at the same venue during the first three days of Eid Al Adha holidays. Bryan Adams will perform live at the Dubai Media City on February 2. International Club Cult band Fatboy Slim will appear at the Dubai World Trade Centre Hall 3 and 4 on January 5 as part of their Palookaville Tour 2005-06. The band will be supported by renowned solo artiste Neneh Cherry, Karlos fro Chicane and DJs Dion Mavath and David Newman. Anu Malik, a popular name among the Asian community, will perform on January 12 at the Dubai Country Club.
Iranian singer Dariush, who has made his presence felt with his unique style of albums and delivery, will be appear live at the Madinat Jumeirah on January 12. And if it is rock that you want, Junoon, the rock band from Pakistan, which today has a faithful following thanks to their unique blend of guitar riff-based rock and classical music, will be regaling their fans at Zabeel Park on February 2. Lebanese singing sensation Fairuz will bring her special brand of music when she performs at the American University of Dubai on February 19.
