Abu Dhabi: Environmentalist Ebrahim Al Zu'bi, is all set to go diving with the 'Dubai Cares' flag to show that he cares.

"This is the first time I'm doing something like this. I'm inspired by the campaign like many others. It upholds a noble mission to raise money for education ... So I thought being an individual I need to play my part and get involved in my own small way," said Al Zu'bi, Head of the Environmental Education Project at the Knowledge and Human Development Authority.

Support

"I got the idea that I can attract people by organising a diving event and this way raise some money," he said.

Al Zu'bi, who is with the Emirates Diving Association (EDA), is all set to go diving on October 26. "I am overwhelmed by the huge support to the cause of education. I would say that it is a social responsibility of companies and the city's residents to support the Dubai Cares campaign."

"I will be diving with a sign having the logo of the sponsor along with the Dubai Cares logo for Dh10,000 which is the price of a small advertisement ... but I know it will make a big difference no matter how small the amount is," he added.
