Dubai: Al Ghurair City, hosted the children of Manzil, a UAE-based humanitarian organisation, for children with special needs, an opportunity to celebrate Dubai Summer Surprises.
The children from Manzil and their parents were treated to a show by Tom and Jerry, the lovable world famous cartoon characters from Warner Brothers.
Following the 20-minute show, Tom and Jerry (men dressed as the characters themselves) greeted the children and mingled with them, generating loads of fun all round. The two were a big hit among kids who loved their company.
Children with special needs from other humanitarian organisations, participating in the summer camp by the Special Families Support Group, also attended the function at Al Ghurair City.
The Manzil was established in 2004, emphasises inclusion and specialised professional support for young people facing learning, developmental or behavioural challenges.
The children from Manzil were hosted to lunch at MacDonalds'. The popular fast food chain had arranged a special show for their special guests.

Tom and Jerry have been doing the rounds daily at Al Ghurair City from 4pm to 8:30pm, bringing smiles on the faces of children during the on-going Dubai Summer Surprises celebrations.
The Tom and Jerry duo will be performing four 20-minute shows daily at the mall till 21st July before stepping out and making way for another set of cartoon characters to entertain children at Al Ghurair City.
The show times are daily at 4.00pm, 5.30pm, 6.45pm and 8.00pm.
