Dubai: Members of the Modhesh Friends Club will be selling toys and gift items starting today at the Modhesh Fun City, to raise money for the war victims in Lebanon.

In line with the thrust of the Watani programme that seeks to help the war-stricken Lebanon, children in the UAE have distributed campaign leaflets at shopping malls.

They have set up a small charity souq at the main headquarters of DSS' official mascot where children's items will be on sale.

The money generated from the sale will go to charities helping Lebanese children.

"The UAE is there to help victims and to bring relief," said Said Ahmad Obaid Al Mansour, general coordinator of the Watani project.
