Dubai: This summer, the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa), organisers of the Ice Surprises week, will offer cool events during the week. Commenting on the main highlight of the Ice Surprises week, Abdullah Al Hajiri, Senior Manager of Corporate Communications, said: "We will be creating the special ski area in the main gallery of the Mall of the Emirates which will offer ski facilities and also host a number of shows and entertainment activities through the themed week. "Apart from this we have a huge line-up of over 35 activities distributed across various Dubai malls including BurJuman, Deira City Centre and Reef Mall."
Events will target various age-groups and nationalities. While there are several quizzes and contests for the kids who will also enjoy the ice cartoons and performances by the Ice Magician, the adults can look forward to some creative fun with ice carving competitions and 3D photography. Also included in the calendar of events are the Wonder Balloons and Snow Queen Shows, Living Statues and 3D Ice Games besides Wonder Eating and Treasure Hunts.
