Dubai: The Global Village re-opened to visitors on Saturday, a day after strong winds forced it to shut down, organisers told Gulf News.
The gale force winds clocking at around 64 km/h on Friday shut down the open-air site, disappointing a large number of residents and tourists.
Despite the bad weather, many people had turned up at the Village at opening time at 4pm on Friday, but had to be turned away, a spokesperson said.
