Tamer Hosni, the famous Egyptian singer, will make his GCC debut at Dubai Media City on January 25.
The DSF mega concert will be the first of many between January 24 and February 24.
Hosni will sing some of his top hits including record-breaking numbers from his latest album Ya Bent El Eah in addition to his old hits which turned him into a hugely popular Arabic pop star.
“It’s a thrill to be in Dubai and I am looking forward to meeting all my fans here,” he said. “The diversity of Dubai’s population is what attracts me the most, it’s like singing to the whole Arab world in one location.”
Yousuf Mubarak, DSF Events, Operations, and Logistics Director, said, “DSF 2008 has lined up several great concerts that will attract all nationalities and age groups; Hosni’s concert is just the beginning,”
Musical concerts during DSF are a major attraction every year and attract thousands of visitors from around the region.
