If you feel like nothing better than to roll your sleeves up and cook up a feast, then The Bombay recipe challenge is for you.
The Indian restaurant at Marco Polo Hotel is getting ready to take part in the Guinness Book of World Records attempt to create the largest buffet on the planet - and your signature dish could be included in the event at Zabeel Park on January 19.
Entries must be either an Indian vegetarian main course or an Indian chicken main course.
Record breaking
The winner of each category will have their creation featured in the record-breaking attempt and will receive catering by Marco Polo for 30 people at their home, worth Dh3,000.
"We would like to set out a benchmark in catering Indian foods here in Dubai, which The Bombay is very famous for. That's why we've conducted this competition to give pride to all those women out there to have a chance to share their hidden kitchen talents with us," said Sunil Marya, VP and General Manager of Marco Polo Hotel.
"The winner will wear her pride on her sleeve at the time of the event because we will be featuring their food recipes at the DSF event,” Marya added.
Runner-ups of the competition will get a dinner voucher for six guests in The Bombay.
Marco Polo will join four other hotels in Dubai - handpicked by the DSF committee - to join Dubai's bid for a new world record for longest food buffet.
To get an entry form, contact the hotel on telephone number 04 2720000. The competition closes on Tuesday.
