The races are always a festive affair thanks to the horses, jockeys, trainers, owners and most of all the race goers who come in droves.
This DSF, the day was made extra special as dancers and bands entertained crowds between races at Jebel Ali racecourse.
First came a band playing Dixieland style with their outfits a cross between clown, chic and old England.
Next, Egyptian whirling dervishes spun around in their colourful skirts for a good 15 minutes to delight the crowds.
Finally, there was an African troop of drummers and dancers who captivated the attention of the race goers.
