Zaraq: The family of Abu Musab Al Zarqawi has asked the United States to hand over his body for burial, his brother said on Friday. Mohammed Fadhil Al Khalayleh said that it was a matter of dignity and right. Al Zarqawi died in a US air strike on Wednesday, and a wake is being organised in Zarqa city, northeast of Amman. "If they have any remaining respect for our religion then they should give us the body of martyr Abu Musab, this is our right as a family," Mohammed said. Politicial sources say that Zarqawi's body may be handed to his family out of humanitarian considerations, even though Jordan considers him a top terrorist. The Jordanian was behind some of Iraq's most deadly suicide bombings, but is viewed by tribesmen and family members as a "muslim martyr" for fighting US occupation forces.
