‘Beaches excite me’
Sikander Kher, son of actors Anupam and Kirron Kher, is the latest star kid on the block.
Ever since the acting bug bit him during his schooldays, he has been preparing to appear on the big screen by assisting directors such as Sanjay Leela Bhansali and enrolling in an acting course at the National School of Drama.
He made an impressive debut in Sanjay Gupta’s Woodstock Villa, where he played a grey character and followed it up with Summer 2007.
Though both films bombed at the box office, Kher’s unconventional looks and acting potential did not go unnoticed. He is expected to star in a biggie with his buddy Abhishek Bachchan in the near future.
Favourite holiday destination: Anyplace with a beach I love to visit anyplace that has a beach. It excites me to plunge into the waters for a swim.
I enjoy walking on the beach. I am lucky to be in Mumbai, which has the famous Juhu Beach.
I have literally grown up playing there. I also love visiting the beaches in Goa (below) as they have their own charm.
I am an outdoor person and enjoy jet-skiing and other water sports activities.
Memorable moments on a beach
I think being with close friends and having some fun on the beach are the best moments.
Moreover, it is relaxing to see the sun set while on the beach.
What not to do on a beach
Do not take chances and swim during high tide or bad weather. Avoid the beach at such times.
Three must-haves on a holiday Swimming suit, camera and friends.
Any other favourite destination?
I’d love to visit the beaches of Australia.
