Danger: Ghajini ahead Seems like the sets of Ghajini is proving to be a minefield plagued with injuries for its lead actor Aamir Khan. In the latest accident, the actor hurt himself so badly that he was told to get three weeks of bed rest. This is the second injury in less than two weeks. "Aamir did not want the shooting of Ghajini to suffer because of his injury. Everyone on the sets was against his pushing himself, but Aamir insisted that we shoot close-ups, which wouldn't aggravate his injury. But it did," said a source from the sets. As a result, filming did indeed have to take a back-seat.
Jiah's kick-start Jiah Khan's sultry siren-act in her debut film Nishabd may not have translated into acting offers for this struggling star. But the actress is not willing to give up her dreams of stardom without a fight. She will soon be seen executing some cutting-edge action sequences in her forthcoming venture Ghajini. "They've been extremely unnerving. But I am enjoying every moment of it," she admits. So is she also working towards Kareena's lean and mean look that she sported in Tashan?, we wonder. The answer was affirmative. Looks like, the quest for the perfect body does not stop with Kareena.
Daddy dearest Ajay Devgan has proven time and again to the critics that he is a talented actor, now it is his daughter he is trying to impress. "I look at my career as an investment. I hope to look back 20 years from now and make my daughter proud of what I've done. As long as she knows about my achievements, there's really very little point proclaiming them from the rooftops," says Ajay. What about wife Kajol? Wonder if she feels the same.
Exercising friendship If you are Suniel Shetty's friend then chances of you getting into shape are high. The actor is known to dictate dietary and exercise regime to his friends. The latest beneficiary of Suniel's expertise is Govinda. The portly star lost eight kilos while shooting with Suniel in Bangkok for their film Loot. "Suniel put me on a fat-free no-oil diet while we were shooting in Bangkok," says Govinda.
