Check out the riding zone in the west hall at Modhesh Fun City which pays tribute to the Arabian tradition of riding camels and horses. The zone is designed as a ranch house with attendees wearing cowboy hats, boots and rodeo gear. Apart from riding on horses and camels, the children also get to see the animals feed during the day. If you wish to star in a music video, then head to Deira City Centre this week. Combining animation and state-of-the-art technology, a programme titled Dance Heads superimposes participants' heads on dancing characters as they sing along to some of the greatest pop hits of all time. The effect is completed with a fully animated background with viewing monitors allowing shoppers to watch participants transform into singing sensations.
It is not just lip-syncing or karaoke, but rather professionally produced music videos, states the press release. Participants also receive a DVD copy at the end of their slot.
The programme will be held at the main stage of the centre court, from 3 to 10pm on weekdays (Sunday to Wednesday) and 4 to 11pm on weekends (Thursday to Saturday).
MALL OF THE EMIRATES

A team of acrobats, aerial artists and gymnasts will perform gravity-defying feats of balance, strength and agility as a part of Cirque Le Masque show.
The performance will be held at the Galleria section three times a day. As per the tentative schedule, the shows will be held at 4.30, 6.30 and 8pm on weekdays (Sunday to Wednesday) and 4.30, 6.30 and 9.15pm(Thursday to Saturday)
MERCATO MALL

A collection of photographs by travel photographer Gilles Delmotte capturing the essence of Dubai will be showcased at Mercato. The exhibition, Journey From The Orient, will take place on the ground floor of the mall starting today.
