Sound of Music
You'd have to have lived under a rock for most of the last century if you do not to know the story of The Sound of Music, or haven't hummed the evergreen melodies from one of the most beloved musicals ever made. The tale of the VonTrapp family singers and their memorable songs such as Doe, A Deer, These Are A Few Of My Favourite Things and I am Sixteen have stood the test of time. Watch the magic spring to life with a two hour concert by father-son duo Franz and Franz Junior and 16 other talented artistes as they weave their magic.

Disney's High School Musical Auditions
A hunt for talented actors, singers and dancers ages 10 to 23 is on. The West End Stage Experience gives young performers a taste of professional theatre with a chance to audition for Disney's High School Musical in Dubai.

3rd Charity Drum Circle 2008
This event will see performances by musicians from Dubai Lime, a session by Dave Crane and a live auction, all in a bid to raise over Dh85,000 to send the children of Al Ihsan Charity Centre back to school.

Musical Comedy
The members of the Abu Dhabi Choral Group will stage a popular musical by Cole Porter. Anything Goes is set in the 1920s and revolves around Billy, a love-sick Wall Street broker who sneaks aboard a ship with the hope of winning over his loved one.

Qawwali

Comedy
Art is a comedy about the cataclysmic effect on three friends, Serge, Marc and Yvan, when Serge purchases an expensive work of abstract art – a large painting consisting of white lines on a white canvas.

Friday Night Live
Gear up for two hour stand-up comedy extravaganza that will entertain audiences of all ethnic groups under the tagline Minorities Rule.

Following the success of The Axis of Evil Middle East Comedy Tour, Palestinian-American Aron Kader returns to host the event with Sugar Sammy, an Indian-born rising star from Canada. Joining them is the African-American sensation from Comedy Central, Dwayne Perkins, Jordanian-American Mike Batayeh who's appeared on TV show Everybody loves Raymond and Egyptian-American Ronnie Khalil with credits on Conan O'Brien. Lebanese national Nemr Abou Nassar, hot off the heels from selling out 2,000 seats for his 90-minute show, will perform brand new sets in stand-up comedy.
