Dubai: Bahrain Air, a private carrier located in Bahrain, has started preparations to launch direct flights to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal.
Under an attempt to increase its international services, Bahrain Air intends to commence its Kathmandu services with thrice-weekly flights, making Kathmandu the 17th destination on its network.
Kathmandu would be the third city in the Asian region where Bahrain Air would be operating its services. The service will be launched on March 3..
Bahrain Air will operate these flights upon the arrival of its fourth aircraft, an Airbus A319, and will commence its link between Bahrain International Airport and Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, using an Airbus A320 or A319 aircraft with 12 premium class and 150 economy class seats, to serve the growing passenger demand on the route.
The flight, 2B513/514, will depart Bahrain International Airport on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 02:35 am and arrive at Kathmandu at 10:05am local time. It will depart Kathmandu at 10:50am and return to Bahrain at 12:50 pm.
