Beijing: China claims Tibetan activists are planning to use “suicide squads” in coming attacks on government interests.
''To our knowledge, the next plan of the Tibetan independence forces is to organize suicide squads to launch violent attacks,'' a government spokesman said.
The prime minister of Tibet's 'government-in-exile' denied the claim.
The claim is the latest in a well-orchestrated media campaign levelled against the Dalai Lama and pro-Tibet activists.
China has accused Tibet’s exiled spiritual leader of being behind recent anti-government protests in the regional capital of Lhasa last month, and attempting to sabotage the up-coming Olympic Games in August.
