Kathmandu: A dozen Tibet supporters stormed into a United Nations complex in Nepal on Friday to seek intervention following unrest in the country.
The protesters scaled the walls of the complex and began protesting, “sitting inside with their placards,” a witness said.
Outside the UN building, police detained dozens of other protesters.
Tibetans living in Nepal have been protesting after unrest in the Tibetan capital in Lhasa led to the detention of hundreds of protesters, including nuns and monks.
