Cairo: The son of most-wanted Al Qaida leader Osama Bin Laden is urging him to change his ways.

In an interview with CNN, Omar bin Laden said his message for Osama is to "find another way".

"I try and say to my father: ''Try to find another way to help or find your goal. This bomb, this weapons, it's not good to use it for anybody,' " Omar said.

He said that fellow Muslims have the same message for his father. "They too say ... my father should change [his] way," he said.

Omar said he is talking publicly because he wants an end to the violence his father has inspired.

Omar has said recently that he wants to be an ambassador of peace between Muslims and the West.
