If explosive action is what you seek, look no further than the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) which has it in abundance this year.
As day turns to night over Dubai Creek, the skies will erupt in a kaleidoscope of colour with up to 300 fireworks being launched per minute.
The extravagant 15-minute display, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night during DSF, will be launched from a floating barge beside Al Seef Street, at Dubai Creek. Using some of the most advanced pyrotechnics available, the display will feature three times the number of fireworks that are normally let off per minute.
The show, organised by the Al Zarooni Group, will begin at 8pm and spectators on either side of the Creek will be able to watch a spectacular display of colour, light, and sound.
New dimension
Mohammad Abdul Rahman Ahli, DSF events coordinator said: "Fireworks have always been a hallmark of every DSF edition and the fireworks festival this year takes the display to a new dimension. While employing sophisticated technology in ensuring a safe yet colourful spectacle, visitors will watch the most advanced pyrotechnics used in the region yet, in line with DSF's commitment of offering the finest to its guests."
