Occupied Jerusalem: Negotiations between Israel and Palestine are under way, in an attempty to jump start the Middle East peace process.
The talks are taking place against a backdrop of fresh violence in Gaza.
On Wednesday morning Palestinian militants fired 16 rockets towards Israel, hours after Israeli forces ended an incursion into the strip.
Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Arye Mekel said both sides wanted to keep the meeting "low key."
He said there were hopes they could "jump start" the peace process.
