Public sector gets two-day holiday
Abu Dhabi: Public sector employees will get a two-day holiday on December 2 and 3, to mark the UAE's National Day, a circular said on Monday. The circular was issued by Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Governmental Development Sector.

Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Monday held talks with Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi. Prodi said new opportunities prompted the two friendly countries to maintain close relations and build strong bridges for scientific, cultural and investment interaction. He added that he was impressed with the vision of Shaikh Mohammad, which enabled the UAE to step into a new era of openness and harmony.
