Ras Al Khaimah: A candidate for the Federal National Council (FNC) elections approached yesterday the election sub-committee to submit receipts and plans for his campaign, demanding immediate funds for financing canvassing. Officials said the candidate assumed his entire campaign would be financed by the government. Officials tried to convince the candidate that he has to personally finance his campaign. The candidate said he was not told about financing his campaign.
Varsity to hold open day in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi: The British University in Dubai (BUiD) is holding an open day here tomorrow. The open day to be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel will offer students the chance to sit and discuss enrolment at the varsity with BUiD's experts.
