All 86 students who appeared for the Kerala SSLC exam this year at the Gulf Model School in Dubai have passed according to results declared yesterday. There are 27 distinction, 36 first class, 12 second class and 11 third class holders. The top scorers are Tabassum Muni with 564, followed by Sneha Joseph with 556 and Ajas Abdul Sherief with 553. Similar 100 per cent success was declared by the New Indian Model (NIM) group of schools. Of 809 students who appeared in the SSLC examinations from the Gulf region, 464 were from the NIM group. From this number, 227 students wrote from the New Indian Model School in Dubai, of which 89 students secured distinction and 109 students got first class. Sneha V. Smarakan with 570 marks topped the Dubai school.
She was followed by Raihana Rasheed and Roshna Rasheed at second place with 567 marks each and Swedha Sivadasan with 564 marks at third place. From the New Indian Model School in Sharjah, 27 students secured distinction and 59 obtained first class. Aswathy Ramabhadran topped with 570 marks. Janna Dharman is at second place with 565 marks. With 561 marks, Unnikrishnan Ramamoorthy is at third place. New Indian Model School Dubai boasts of having the UAE SSLC examination topper Nilofer Samad, who has secured 579 out of 600 marks and is also the holder of the eighth rank in the state. From the school, 68 students secured distinction and 48 secured first class. Second place at the school is held by Mohammed Fazil and Sameera Obaidullah, both of who have secured 570 marks. Third position has gone to Bhagya Balakrishnan who secured 567 marks. From the New Indian Model School in Al Ain, six secured distinction and 15 got first class. New Indian Higher Secondary School from Ras Al Khaimah has also declared 100 per cent results. From the 54 students who appeared at the examinations, six secured distinction and 24 obtained first class. Reshma Ranganathan with 523 marks holds top position, followed by Naisa at second place with 496 marks and Shene Sunil at third place with 493 marks.
